The Colony Club

Colony Club, a Luxury Collection Resort, is a landmark beachfront property on Barbados’ Platinum Coast, celebrated for its lush gardens and signature lagoon-style pools. Morris Straker Construction Inc. was engaged to deliver targeted upgrades that would modernize key spaces across the resort – a project valued at $40 million and one of the largest in MSC’s recent portfolio.

Rather than a wholesale renovation, the project called for a careful hand – preserving the resort’s timeless Caribbean elegance while introducing contemporary functionality where it mattered most. Every upgrade was considered against the property’s existing character, ensuring the result felt seamless rather than imposed.

The completed project balances refined finishes with modern performance, enhancing the overall guest experience at one of Barbados’ most recognised luxury resorts.
