Founded in 1984 by Mr. Morris M. Straker, Morris Straker Construction Inc. has become a cornerstone of the Barbados construction industry, built on a reputation for fast-paced delivery, high-quality workmanship, and unwavering reliability.
In 2006, Mark Beeson joined the company following a close collaboration with Mr. Straker on the construction of the new Hilton Hotel. After Mr. Straker’s retirement in 2009, Mark assumed ownership and stewardship of the business, inheriting its legacy and deepening its commitment to excellence.
Today, MSC continues to deliver across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors, holding the same standard that has defined the company for over four decades: quality with no room for compromise.

MARK BEESON
Mark Beeson brings decades of construction experience across the United Kingdom, North America, and the Caribbean. His background spans luxury residential, commercial, and large-scale hospitality projects, delivering results in some of the region’s most demanding environments.
Earlier in his career, Mark co-founded EMCS Caribbean Ltd, a company specialising in the design and construction of luxury homes across the British Virgin Islands and Antigua. Under his leadership, EMCS established itself as a benchmark for quality and innovation in the region. In 2022, he made a deliberate decision to step away and focus entirely on Morris Straker Construction Inc.
Known for his strategic vision, financial discipline, and hands-on approach, Mark has built a reputation as a trusted partner for clients and investors who require a construction team that maximises value, minimises risk, and delivers without compromise.
